Gemini Spark now integrates with Chrome
Gemini Spark is expanding globally and gaining new web browsing capabilities through a direct integration with Chrome. Google AI Pro subscribers in over one hundred sixty additional countries now have access to the tool to help automate their daily tasks.
With user permission, Gemini Spark can now use logged-in accounts and saved passwords within Chrome to manage tedious web tasks. Examples include scheduling apartment viewings or researching flights and starting the booking process.
The system includes built-in protections against prompt injection threats. It also keeps users informed about sensitive actions, handing tasks back to the user when steps like payments are required.
These new features are initially rolling out in the United States. Google plans to expand the Chrome integration to additional regions in the future.
