Introducing Gemini 3.6 Flash, 3.5 Flash-Lite, and 3.5 Flash Cyber

Google is expanding its Gemini AI model lineup with the introduction of Gemini 3.6 Flash, 3.5 Flash-Lite, and 3.5 Flash Cyber. These models are designed to give developers and enterprises the efficiency, low latency, and reliability required to build and scale production AI agents and handle high-volume workflows.

Gemini 3.6 Flash serves as a workhorse model providing better coding, multimodal performance, and knowledge work. It reduces output token usage by 17 percent compared to the previous 3.5 version, requires fewer reasoning steps, and is priced at $1.50 per million input tokens and $7.50 per million output tokens. It features enhanced safety safeguards against chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and cyber offense misuses.

Gemini 3.5 Flash-Lite is the fastest model in the 3.5 series, reaching 350 output tokens per second. It costs $0.3 per million input tokens and $2.5 per million output tokens, targeting high-throughput tasks like agentic search and document processing. Meanwhile, Gemini 3.5 Flash Cyber is a specialized, fine-tuned model paired with the CodeMender code security agent to find and fix cybersecurity vulnerabilities. Due to its dual-use nature, 3.5 Flash Cyber will be released exclusively to governments and trusted partners through a limited-access pilot program.

Gemini 3.6 Flash and 3.5 Flash-Lite are available immediately for developers through the Gemini API in Google AI Studio and Android Studio, for enterprises via the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, and for general users in the Gemini app. Additionally, Google is testing Gemini 3.5 Pro with partners for a future release and has begun pre-training for the next-generation Gemini 4.
