Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash lets you build with more control

Google is introducing Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash, a production-ready update designed to give developers advanced control over generative video. The model is available immediately through Google AI Studio, the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, and the Gemini API for building custom creative tools and media editing software.

The update introduces several new production capabilities, including scene extensions that allow existing video clips to continue seamlessly for up to 40 seconds by analyzing prior context. Developers can also specify exact starting and ending frames to produce smooth camera transitions and movements. Additionally, the model supports rapid prototyping using lightweight 360p previews that generate up to 60 percent faster and at a lower cost, alongside final upscaling options for crisp 1080p and 4K outputs.

These features enable professional studios and platforms to integrate reliable AI video generation into existing workflows. Major companies such as Adobe, Figma, GMI Cloud, and Runway are already incorporating the technology into their respective products to help creators iterate faster and manage complex video production tasks.
