AI Gothenburg partners with Nvidia to scale AI startups

AI Gothenburg has partnered with Business Region Göteborg and Nvidia to establish Gothenburg, Sweden as the leading Nordic center for launching and scaling artificial intelligence startups. Operating as a public-private hub, the initiative is designed to help early-stage founders rapidly develop, validate, and deploy applied artificial intelligence services alongside experienced industry partners.

According to Business Region Göteborg head Patrik Andersson, local startups are already responsible for some of Sweden’s most innovative technology developments. The primary mission of the new partnership is to provide a focused environment that allows these founders to build real companies much faster through close collaboration with industry leaders.

The rollout of these competence-building initiatives directly aligns with Sweden's national artificial intelligence priorities. By connecting local innovation with broader goals, the project plays a critical role in turning national strategy into practical, real-world progress for the region's industrial and technological sectors.
