Women’s Board Award 2026 Focuses on AI and Board Governance
Christina Grumstrup Sørensen has received the Women’s Board Award 2026. She is a prominent business profile, a partner at Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, and serves on the board of DSB.
The award presentation was part of an event focused on the future of board work, specifically how artificial intelligence impacts corporate governance. A central theme of the gathering was whether Danish boards are adequately prepared for the rapid technological changes brought by artificial intelligence, framing AI as a crucial strategic leadership responsibility.
During the event, Margrethe Vestager delivered a keynote address on artificial intelligence on the board agenda. This was followed by a panel debate featuring Vestager alongside Jan C. Olsen, CEO of EY Denmark, Tim Frank Andersen, and Mette Louise Kaagaard.
In addition to technology, the discussions highlighted diversity as an essential factor for improving decision-making, strengthening competencies, and bringing diverse perspectives into the boardroom. EY participated as the main partner, contributing to the dialogue about the demands shaping the future of leadership.
