Sovera Security secures €535K from EIFO to build sovereign AI cybersecurity
Sovera Security has secured 535,000 euros in funding from the Export and Investment Fund of Denmark to expand its operations. The capital will be used to develop the company's artificial intelligence capabilities and infrastructure, grow its team, and strengthen its market presence in Denmark, the Nordic region, and broader European markets.
The company operates an AI-native security platform powered by GPUs running in its own data centre. By maintaining its own infrastructure, Sovera focuses on data and operational sovereignty. Its approach combines artificial intelligence and automation with human expertise, ensuring that critical security decisions remain under human control.
Sovera provides security solutions for operators of critical infrastructure as well as mid-to-large enterprises. For these organizations, resilience, regulatory compliance, secure data handling, and governance of security operations are essential requirements.
The funding allows the company to capitalize on Denmark's cybersecurity foundation and compete internationally. The Export and Investment Fund of Denmark is supporting the company as part of a strategy to foster Danish technology in a sector of growing strategic importance.
