Swedish AI Startup Klang Raises SEK 15 Million
Swedish artificial intelligence startup Klang has secured SEK 15 million in new funding at a valuation of SEK 150 million. The investment round was led by Johan Lenander, with additional participation from Emil Sjödin, Daniel Gadd, and existing investors.
Klang creates conversational artificial intelligence technology designed to transcribe, summarize, and analyze business conversations. The software converts spoken interactions into structured information that companies can apply to customer service, sales, and operational workflows, including applications in healthcare.
To train its models, the startup utilizes sensor-based data collection nodes that gather physical signals. This approach targets an emerging physical artificial intelligence layer that extends beyond traditional computer vision and language models.
The newly raised capital will be used to support product development and drive international expansion. Specifically, Klang plans to expand its engineering team, develop additional sensor nodes and tactile models, and scale its commercial deployments into new markets.
