Swedish A.I. Startup Klang Raises 1.5 Million Euros and Sets Its Sights on DACH

Swedish artificial intelligence startup Klang has raised 1.5 million euros in funding at a valuation of approximately 15 million euros. The investment round is led by tech investor Johan Lenander, along with Emil Sjödin and Daniel Gadd, with additional participation from existing owners.

Based in Helsingborg and operated by a team of five people, Klang develops software that transcribes, summarizes, and analyzes conversations including meetings, customer calls, and consultations. The company states that its memory-focused software is designed to understand every conversation better than the people in the room.

Despite its small team consisting of CEO Niklas Silfverström, Andreas Argelius, Mattias Fält, Jacob Andersson, and Viktor Silfverström, the startup currently generates about 1.8 million euros in annual recurring revenue. Following this new financial backing, Klang is setting its sights on expansion into the DACH region, which covers Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
