Swedish company raises €1.32 million to develop searchable AI memory for conversations

Swedish artificial intelligence company Klang has secured €1.32 million in funding at a valuation of €13.2 million. The investment round was led by tech investor Johan Lenander, along with Emil Sjödin and Daniel Gadd, and included participation from existing shareholders.

Klang creates technology that transcribes, summarizes, and analyzes conversations. The company is currently building its own speech and language models designed for real-time processing to provide searchable artificial intelligence memory for dialogues.

The newly acquired funds will be used for ongoing artificial intelligence research and development, as well as international expansion. Klang currently generates 20 million Swedish kronor in annual recurring revenue and plans to hire approximately ten new employees across research, development, and marketing.

For its near-term growth, the company is targeting expansion into the Nordics, the Benelux region, the DACH region, and Japan. Despite this international growth strategy, Klang intends to maintain a small and capital-efficient team.
