Swedish company raises €1.32 million to develop searchable AI memory for conversations

Swedish artificial intelligence company Klang has secured €1.32 million in new funding at a €13.2 million valuation. The investment round was led by tech investor Johan Lenander, along with Refined founder Emil Sjödin and Position Green co-founder Daniel Gadd, with participation from existing shareholders. Klang currently generates 20 million Swedish kronor in annual recurring revenue.

The company builds technology that transcribes, summarizes, and analyzes spoken conversations in real time using its own proprietary speech and language models. Klang plans to use the capital to accelerate its AI research and product development, hire approximately ten new employees across research, development, and marketing, and expand internationally into the Nordics, Benelux, the DACH region, and Japan.

A central long-term goal for the company is creating a searchable conversation memory for organizations. This future platform aims to capture not just the words spoken, but also context, nuance, dialects, and connections between different discussions across a company, ensuring that spoken information is never lost.
