DI Digital proposes national AI infrastructure framework for Denmark
Dansk Industri presents a new political proposal to establish a national framework for artificial intelligence infrastructure in Denmark. The initiative aims to secure increased computing power, energy capacity, and faster establishment of the physical and digital foundations needed for advanced technology.
Recent analyses show that nearly eight out of ten Danish companies currently use artificial intelligence in some form, making Danish businesses among the most AI-intensive in Europe. Furthermore, artificial intelligence is rapidly shifting from experimental phases into actual daily operations, automation, and integration within major businesses.
To support this high level of adoption, the proposed framework connects investments in computing power and data centers with digital networks, research initiatives, skills development, and spatial planning. This comprehensive approach ensures that Denmark can maintain its leading position in European business digitalization.
