Danish VC firm leads 3 million euro seed round in Swedish AI startup Spiich

The Danish venture capital fund Ugly Duckling Ventures is leading a 3 million euro seed funding round in Spiich Labs, a Swedish artificial intelligence startup based in Stockholm. Founded in 2025 by Johan Torssell and Dennis Hadzialic, the company develops artificial intelligence agents designed to automate sales tasks such as prospecting, updating customer relationship management systems, preparing for meetings, and following up.

In addition to Ugly Duckling Ventures, Alliance VC and Cherry Ventures are joining as new investors, and existing investor Ampli Ventures is also participating alongside founders from companies including Lovable, Neo4j, and Tandem Health. This latest investment brings the startup total capital raised to 3.6 million euro.

Spiich reports that it currently has 50 customers across 15 countries and has been involved in more than 50,000 closed deals. The startup plans to use the newly acquired capital to hire new employees within development and sales and to drive its expansion across Europe.
