Million-funding for Danish startup: Developing AI infrastructure based on both hardware and software

Danish startup Granite has raised four million euros in a funding round led by Bifrost Studios. The company is developing artificial intelligence infrastructure that combines both hardware and software solutions.

The funding will support the commercialization of Granite's technology, specifically focusing on integrating its software and hardware systems into broader artificial intelligence infrastructure.

According to Granite, corporate artificial intelligence is shifting from basic chatbots that simply answer questions to advanced agents capable of performing actual tasks. This evolution changes the technical requirements for underlying infrastructure.

The company aims to provide organizations with real choices regarding where their artificial intelligence runs, who controls the underlying technology, and how they develop their capabilities over time.
