New report maps identity fraud and cyber threats in Denmark
A new report maps identity fraud and cyber threats across nine European countries, including Denmark. The Norwegian technology company Signicat conducted the investigation, published under the title The Battle In The Dark, to examine conditions related to digital threats.
The findings show that 38 percent of all fraud attacks in Denmark specifically target user accounts. While artificial intelligence technologies like deepfakes receive substantial attention, the report points out that businesses must also focus heavily on traditional forms of identity fraud.
