Copenhagen AI compliance startup Complir raises €11 million seed round
The Copenhagen-based startup Complir has raised an eleven million dollar seed round to fund its artificial intelligence platform. The funding round was led by General Catalyst, with additional participation from angel investors and specialist industry funds.
Complir builds technology designed specifically for retailers and brands. Its artificial intelligence determines which regulations apply to a company's products and automatically generates the necessary compliance paperwork.
The company was founded by a team that includes Gustav Bang, Tine Kühnel, and Marc Kaa Brejner. The startup operates within the regulatory technology sector in Europe, helping businesses streamline the complex process of product compliance.
