Aarhus University explores generative AI in Danish education
Students are already using generative artificial intelligence for their schoolwork. A new research project from the Danish School of Education at Aarhus University is examining how chatbots can be applied in a critical and constructive way within Danish language and literature education.
The research initiative addresses the reality that these digital tools are a permanent part of the educational landscape. Rather than hiding or banning the technology, the project explores methods to integrate artificial intelligence directly into classroom teaching.
This work matters because it shifts the educational approach from restriction to active engagement. By figuring out how to use chatbots constructively, educators can help students develop critical skills for navigating new technologies in their academic work.
