Syv af ti danskere klar til at lade kunstig intelligens betale for indkøbene
A large survey named Payment Report Denmark 2026, conducted by the payment company Nets Nexi, reveals that seven out of ten Danes are willing to let artificial intelligence handle their online purchases from start to finish.
While many consumers already use artificial intelligence to search for products online, this shift toward automated purchasing depends heavily on payment security and consumer trust. If these conditions are met, a large majority is prepared to let the technology take over the entire buying process.
This development will significantly impact online retailers, as customers will visit webshops themselves much less frequently than before. A substantial portion of Danish e-commerce already takes place on mobile phones, and the integration of automated payments represents the next step in this digital evolution as companies work to make the technology available soon.
