Mystery surrounds new large data center planned for Lolland
A new large data center is planned on a 114-hectare area of land on Lolland, transforming the open landscape around Lundegårdsvej. Local residents and people from nearby towns including Rødby and Nakskov recently gathered in a large white tent for a municipal public meeting to learn more about the upcoming construction project.
Despite strong local curiosity about who is behind the project, representatives refuse to reveal the identity of the future occupant. Allan Egeris Arentsen from the construction company Stender declines to answer questions regarding who is moving into the new facility, stating that doing so would result in severe consequences.
The project has drawn significant attention from local neighbors who are eager to know who their new neighbor will be, as the massive development will drastically alter the surrounding rural area on Lolland.
