AI Cloud Startup Verda Raises $189 Million in Funding Round

The Finnish cloud startup Verda has secured $189 million in a new financing round. This latest investment pushes the company's valuation to at least $1 billion, although an exact figure was not disclosed.

Emergence Capital led the funding round. Other participants included MUFG Innovation Partners, computing company Super Micro Computer Inc., Varma Mutual Pension Insurance Co., and Lifeline Ventures.
