The 20 European investors funding NATO’s defence and innovation
A network of twenty European investors is actively funding military defence and innovation initiatives aligned with NATO priorities. These investments target smaller funding rounds directed at advanced technological developments.
The financed sectors include missile manufacturing, autonomous aerial intelligence, drone defence lasers, unmanned systems software, and strategic advanced materials. Specific venture participants driving these initiatives include DTCP, the NATO Innovation Fund, and Project A.
Individual firms within this network have already backed several specific developers and technologies. DTCP led investments in Kraken and Six Robotics in Norway, while the NATO Innovation Fund participated in funding rounds for Kraken, Greenjets, and Uplift360, and led a fifteen million euro Series A round for Kelluu.
