Estonian Creem raises €5 million seed to expand billing and monetisation platform

Tallinn-based fintech Creem has raised a €5 million seed round led by Inovo VC, with participation from Practica Capital, Antler, and several angel investors. This brings the company's total funding to €7 million. Creem provides billing and monetisation infrastructure for software companies, focusing primarily on small, technical, and AI-native teams that sell products globally.

The platform combines payment processing, tax and compliance management, payouts, affiliate management, revenue splits, analytics, marketing channel tracking, and abandoned cart recovery. It supports modern software pricing models such as usage-based pricing, seat-based subscriptions, credit wallets, and prepaid credits. The company has doubled its annual revenue since its pre-seed round, passing €2 million in annual recurring revenue.

The new capital will fund Creem 2.0 over the next 12 to 18 months. This updated platform features AI-assisted billing tools where a single prompt can set up a store's entire billing system, allowing AI agents and human users to manage and optimize revenue operations. The funding will also expand international compliance and payout infrastructure across both fiat and stablecoin rails, helping small teams scale without increasing headcount.
