Final Frontier and Myriad unite behind €100M defence tech fund

Danish defence tech venture capital firms Final Frontier and Myriad are combining forces under the Final Frontier brand to launch a targeted one hundred million euro fund. The merger brings together Final Frontier's geopolitical and defence industry expertise with Myriad's network of experienced Nordic founders and operators.

The newly united platform responds to Europe's large-scale rearming and the lessons from Ukraine, where modern conflicts are increasingly shaped by software, speed, and small teams. Prior to joining forces, Final Frontier closed an initial four point five million euro fund in May 2025 with backing from figures including former NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen. Myriad was launched in August 2025 by experienced tech operators, including Zendesk co-founder Alexander Aghassipour and former Just Eat CEO Klaus Nyengaard.

The combined entity currently holds a portfolio of fifteen companies. The new fund, named Final Frontier Fund Two, aims to back pre-seed and seed-stage startups across the New Nordics and Ukraine, with a first close anticipated by the end of the year.

The platform is designed to provide founders with early product development support, specialist expertise, organizational scaling help, and guidance through complex defence procurement cycles. The initiative aims to supply the necessary private investment capital for early-stage defence technology as Europe scales up its national security spending.
