Danske virksomheder bruger i stigende grad kunstig intelligens
New data from Statistics Denmark reveals a massive surge in the adoption of artificial intelligence across Danish businesses with ten or more employees. Over a three-year period, the proportion of companies using AI has nearly quadrupled, jumping from fifteen percent in 2023 to forty-two percent in 2025, and finally reaching fifty-nine percent in 2026.
This widespread integration of artificial intelligence encompasses a variety of practical applications in the workplace. Companies now routinely rely on the technology for tasks such as text analysis, converting spoken language into machine-readable code, generating images and videos, and automating everyday business workflows.
The rapid growth in AI usage highlights a pressing need for greater consideration within the corporate sector, according to Natasha Friis Saxberg, the chief executive officer of the tech industry trade organization IT-Branchen. She emphasizes that as the technology becomes more widespread, businesses must place a much higher priority on quality, transparency, data security, and human judgment.
