CRM challenger Zero gets backing from Lovable and Langdock founders in $10M raise - Tech.eu
Finnish startup Zero has raised 10.3 million dollars in a seed round, marking one of the largest seed investments ever secured by a tech company in Finland. New York-based Primary Venture Partners led the funding round. Additional backing came from Inception Fund, Defiant, Greens, and the founders of European AI startups Lovable and Langdock, alongside investors from Supercell, Silo AI, 20VC, and PostHog, plus operator funds backed by executives from companies such as Spotify, OpenAI, and Meta.
Zero operates as an artificial intelligence customer relationship management challenger aiming to compete with established giants like Salesforce and HubSpot. The company was founded by Tuomo Riekki and Santtu Koivumäki, both former leaders at the AI advertising platform Smartly. Zero builds automated systems designed to replace traditional CRM platforms and various tools used for sales prospecting, customer success, and revenue operations.
The startup utilizes autonomous AI agents to handle tasks across the customer lifecycle, including building prospect lists, sending outbound emails, and monitoring ongoing customer relationships after onboarding. According to the founders, this technology reduces manual administrative work, such as updating records, and allows sales and customer success teams to spend more time directly with clients.
