EUCLYD Raises Over €200M to Break the AI Efficiency Wall

EUCLYD is a European semiconductor systems company based in Eindhoven, Netherlands, that builds ultra-efficient infrastructure for foundation AI models. Founded by Bernardo Kastrup and Atul Sinha, the company aims to reduce the soaring costs, high energy usage, and infrastructure complexity required to deploy advanced artificial intelligence.

The company closed a Series A financing round of more than 200 million euros, co-led by Samsung, Somerset Capital Partners, the EQT-managed Scaleup Europe Fund, and Innovation Industries. Additional participants include EIFO, imec.xpand, the Brabant Development Agency, and Quadri. Former ASML President and CEO Peter Wennink joined EUCLYD as Chairman of the Board.

EUCLYD develops platforms designed to overcome the memory and efficiency limits of current AI architectures. Its core products include craftwerk, which is agentic AI silicon, and the craftwerk station, a low-power exascale AI factory. The platform combines programmable ASIC compute with innovative memory architecture and system-level optimization.

The raised capital will expand the engineering team, advance the silicon and systems roadmap, strengthen ecosystem partnerships, and prepare the company for commercial deployment across enterprise, sovereign, and hyperscale AI markets.
