CRM challenger Zero gets backing from Lovable and Langdock founders in $10M raise

The Finnish tech startup Zero has raised $10.3 million in a seed funding round, which is understood to be one of the largest seed rounds ever secured by a Finnish technology company. New York-based Primary Venture Partners led the financing. Additional backing came from Inception Fund, Defiant, Greens, and the founders of European AI startups Lovable and Langdock, alongside Supercell and Silo AI. Earlier investors include 20VC, PostHog co-founder James Hawkins, and operator funds backed by executives from companies such as OpenAI, Spotify, Shopify, Meta, and Wolt.

Zero aims to challenge major customer relationship management companies like Salesforce and HubSpot by replacing traditional CRM models and various prospecting and revenue operations tools with an autonomous system. The company was founded by Tuomo Riekki and Santtu Koivumäki, both former leaders at the AI advertising platform Smartly. Zero utilizes AI agents to automate manual tasks across the customer lifecycle, including building prospect lists, sending outbound emails, and monitoring post-onboarding customer relationships.

The founders created the platform to eliminate the need for employees to manually update records for leadership tracking, allowing teams to spend more time directly with customers. By automating these processes, Zero enables companies to support more customers using smaller teams.
