59 percent of Danish companies use artificial intelligence in 2026
In 2026, 59 percent of all Danish companies with more than ten employees use artificial intelligence. This represents a significant increase from previous years, as the share was 15 percent in 2023 and 42 percent in 2025.
The widespread adoption covers several practical applications, including text analysis, converting spoken language into machine-readable code, generating images and videos, and automating various workflows. Figures from Statistics Denmark confirm that the proportion of businesses utilizing this technology has nearly quadrupled over a three-year period.
Representatives from the Danish Chamber of Commerce note that artificial intelligence has shifted from being a purely technological conversation topic into a concrete business tool. Industry leaders observe that the largest companies currently lead the way in this permanent transition.
