Statistics Denmark: AI adoption rises significantly among Danish companies

New figures from Statistics Denmark show that artificial intelligence adoption has increased significantly among Danish companies. Over half of businesses with ten or more employees now use artificial intelligence, reaching fifty-nine percent compared to forty-two percent the previous year.

Adoption rates vary greatly across different business sectors. Nearly all companies within the information technology and media industries utilize the technology. In contrast, the adoption rate remains considerably lower within the construction and manufacturing sectors.

The technical business organization Tekniq views the integration of artificial intelligence as a necessary step for its members to remain competitive. This widespread shift highlights how quickly businesses are incorporating new technologies into their daily operations, though uptake depends heavily on the specific industry.
