Velatir raises €5 million for AI infrastructure platform

Danish startup Velatir has raised five million euros in seed funding to support its artificial intelligence infrastructure platform. The investment will be used to expand the company engineering team, speed up product development, and secure wider adoption across the industry.

Crane Venture Partners led the financing round. Additional backing came from PXN Ventures and AIP Seed, alongside several angel investors that include former researchers from DeepMind.

This investment is part of a broader wave of European artificial intelligence funding rounds occurring in 2026. These adjacent financing rounds include sixteen million euros for AI Infrastructure Capital in Switzerland and one point seven million euros for Zerops, a cloud platform based in Prague.
