CoreWeave shares jump as new Denmark AI capacity goes live

CoreWeave, a specialized AI cloud and GPU infrastructure provider, saw its shares rise after it brought new capacity online in Denmark. The stock closed at $63.93, up 7.32%, on trading volume of 58.3 million shares, about 53% above its three-month average of 38.1 million. Pre-market news of the Danish capacity and a broader rebound in AI stocks drove the move.

Investors appeared to welcome the news because demand for CoreWeave's AI-ready cloud infrastructure far outstrips supply. Every additional piece of infrastructure that comes online can start earning revenue for the company, which is why the Denmark capacity was read as a relief. CoreWeave went public in 2025 and its shares have grown 60% since the IPO.

The main open question is how CoreWeave will keep funding its build-out. The company reported a $104 billion backlog at the end of the second quarter of 2026, and it signed at least $25 billion in new customer commitments in the third quarter. Investors are now watching the upcoming earnings report for updates on that backlog and on how the company plans to fund its debt.

For the Nordic AI market, the story shows that new data centre capacity in Denmark is being brought into service by a major AI cloud provider whose business is limited by supply rather than demand. How quickly CoreWeave can finance and deliver more capacity will shape how much of its large order book turns into revenue.
