CoreWeave brings AI cloud capacity online in Copenhagen with atNorth

CoreWeave, the Nasdaq-listed AI cloud provider, announced on October 27, 2026 that it has expanded its global AI cloud platform. It has brought new computing capacity online in Denmark and is extending its Global AI Network into the Middle East and Asia Pacific. The company says the expansion strengthens its ability to deliver the performance, reliability and connectivity customers need to build and scale AI workloads internationally.

The Danish deployment is CoreWeave's first in the country. It has brought the majority of a planned 22.5 megawatts of IT capacity online at atNorth's DEN01 data center in Copenhagen.

DEN01 has a heat reuse agreement in place to supply surplus heat to the district heating network. The stated aim is to reduce reliance on alternative heating sources and to contribute to Denmark's green transition.

atNorth is headquartered in Reykjavik, Iceland, and operates seven data centers across the Nordics. It also has four mega sites under development: Kouvola in Finland, Ølgod in Denmark, Sollefteå in Sweden and Haugaland in Norway. A further metro site is under construction in Stockholm, Sweden.

For Denmark and the Nordics, the news marks the arrival of a major AI cloud provider's compute capacity in a Copenhagen facility that feeds waste heat into the local district heating system. It also shows atNorth's Nordic data center footprint hosting international AI infrastructure demand.
