CoreWeave Expands AI Cloud Footprint With Denmark Data Center — Plans Global Network Expansion Across 4 Continents

CoreWeave, the AI cloud provider, has brought new computing capacity online in Denmark, its first deployment in the country. It also extended plans for a global high-capacity network linking its data centers across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific. The network is targeted for completion in mid-2027.

The Danish capacity sits at North's DEN01 data center in Copenhagen. CoreWeave says the majority of its planned 22.5 megawatts of IT capacity there is now online. The facility runs Nvidia Blackwell systems and high-speed networking technology aimed at demanding AI workloads. With this site, CoreWeave's European footprint grows to nine data centers across five geographies.

The Copenhagen facility also has an agreement to supply surplus heat to a local district heating network, so the energy produced by its computing operations is reused rather than wasted.

CoreWeave Chief Operating Officer Sachin Jain said customers increasingly need reliable computing capacity and infrastructure that lets them "move data and workloads wherever their business requires." The planned network is meant to serve that need by connecting facilities on four continents.

The news drew attention to CoreWeave's stock (CRWV), which was trading about 1% higher in premarket trading on Tuesday. For Denmark, the deployment adds large-scale AI infrastructure in Copenhagen, paired with a heat-reuse arrangement tied to the local district heating system.
