Stockholm AI Startups Hiring Fastest in 2026

Swedish AI startups raised €454 million between January and October 2025, more than three times the €124 million raised in all of 2024, according to Alice Labs' State of AI Sweden report. The same report finds that Stockholm is home to more than half of Sweden's AI startups. Much of the new capital has gone to a small group of Stockholm companies that are hiring quickly and expanding abroad.

Landbase, which compiles a broader ranking of the AI startups adding headcount fastest, used its data on 12-month headcount growth to identify the fastest-growing venture-backed AI startups headquartered in Stockholm. The top five are Endra, Legora, Lovable, Intric and Encube. They are followed by Rerun, Atlar, QA.tech, Aloi and Validio.

Endra recorded the highest growth among companies meeting the list's criteria, at more than 550%. Legora followed at more than 450%, and Lovable at more than 200%.

The list points to a pattern: Stockholm's AI startups are mostly vertical and B2B. Legora and Aloi serve lawyers, Endra serves building engineers, Encube serves manufacturers, Atlar serves finance teams, and Intric serves public agencies. Lovable is the main horizontal product, while QA.tech and Validio sell to software and data teams.

Taken together, the funding figures and hiring data show a sharp rise in capital flowing to Swedish AI, concentrated in Stockholm, with the fastest growth coming from companies built for specific professional sectors rather than general-purpose tools.
