3E Network Secures 9 MVA Power Deal for Finland AI Hub
3E Network Technology Group Limited (NASDAQ: MASK) has signed a power distribution network connection agreement for its planned Mikkeli AI compute center in Finland. The agreement is dated October 13, 2026, and was struck between the company's Finnish subsidiary, Aurora Core Technology Oy, and the regional grid operator Järvi-Suomen Energia Oy. It secures 9,000 kVA, or 9 MVA, of ordered capacity. The details come from a report by Investing.com.
The deal moves one of the company's data center buildouts a step closer to reality. The text available here does not say what the capacity will be used for in detail, when the site is due to open, or what the agreement is worth.
Two forward-looking points are made about what follows. 3E Network is expected to disclose more construction and equipment milestones for Mikkeli through 2027 as it works to keep investor confidence in the project's timeline. The piece also expects other small and mid-size AI infrastructure developers to copy the approach, which is to secure regional grid connections outside saturated metro markets instead of competing head-on with hyperscalers for capacity near major cities.
The significance is in that strategy. Grid access is a bottleneck for AI compute, and a connection in a regional Finnish location offers a route to power that avoids the congestion around large cities. For a Nasdaq-listed company with a single named project in Finland, the signed agreement gives investors a concrete step to point to.
