FremtidsLab launches AI tool to future-check transport and logistics firms
FremtidsLab has launched an AI tool that lets transport and logistics companies get an assessment of how AI and new technology could affect their business in the coming years. The user describes their company, and the tool analyses it from there.
According to the description, the tool looks at the company's digital readiness, its biggest opportunities and risks, and how different future scenarios could affect the business. It also provides concrete questions for management to consider and points to strategic choices that could matter for the company up to 2040. The tool is available online under the title "Ny teknologi i transport og logistik".
The tool was developed by Christian Hendriksen, a researcher and lecturer at Copenhagen Business School (CBS), in collaboration with Forte Advice. It is owned by FremtidsLab, a joint initiative between DI Transport and 3F Transport, which means it comes from an employer organisation and a union working together in the sector.
The text also includes a teaser for related material arguing that AI is about more than writing texts faster. It says the technology can help review a tender, prepare a project start and follow up on decisions from a construction meeting, freeing up time for other work. The rest of that passage is cut off in the source.
For companies in the sector, the tool offers a low-barrier way to start thinking about long-term strategy and technology readiness, backed by academic input and the two main organisations behind FremtidsLab.
