Carasent Q3 revenue jumps 32% as AI documentation tool gains traction
Carasent, a Nordic healthcare software company that sells electronic health record (EHR) systems, presented its Q3 2026 interim results on October 15. Revenue was SEK 108.2 million, up 32% year over year. The company says it is keeping its focus on recurring SaaS revenue while expanding its AI-powered documentation tools.
Contracted annual recurring revenue (ARR) stands at SEK 424 million. The company also reports strong organic growth, expanding margins, low churn and high net retention. Early traction for its AI products is described as promising.
Last-twelve-months revenue has climbed from roughly SEK 245 million in Q4 2023 to SEK 390 million in Q3 2026. Over the same period, the combined operating and capital expenditure base stayed stable, between SEK 229 million and SEK 236 million. In other words, revenue has grown without a matching rise in costs, which points to operational scalability.
The main near-term challenge is Germany. Carasent is working to build a stronger foothold in that larger market, and the results coverage notes that difficulties there remain. Even so, the coverage concludes that Carasent looks positioned for continued growth, and that its low churn, high net retention and scalable operations suggest a durable competitive position in Nordic healthcare IT.
For readers following AI in the Nordics, the results show an AI documentation product beginning to gain commercial traction inside an established healthcare software business with a large base of recurring revenue.
