Danish startup raises €2.8 million seed to expand AI platform for financial and insurance advisors
TODAY, an AI startup based in Copenhagen and Berlin, has raised a €2.8 million seed round. High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) and Insurtech Gateway co-led the round. SeedX, Lucid Capital, former HDI CEO Herbert Rogenhofer and Tech11 founder Pierre Dubosq also took part.
The company builds an AI-powered sales operating system for financial and insurance advisors. It uses AI agents to automate administrative tasks, transcribe client meetings, provide sales coaching and handle incoming calls.
TODAY was founded by CEO Michael Gackstatter and CTO Artem Demchenkov. The founders draw on earlier experience at financial technology and insurance technology companies, including CLARK, Funding Circle and Billie.
Gackstatter frames the product as a way to keep advisory work human. "While AI reshuffles financial advice, we scale the human touch," he says. "Our agents take over the admin, so advisors can spend their time with clients." He says the new investors will help the company bring this to every advisory team in the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland).
The excerpt available does not give further detail on the product, pricing, customers or how the funding will be allocated. What it does show is a Danish-German startup backed by investors with insurtech and early-stage tech ties, aiming its AI agents at the administrative load on advisors in the DACH market.
