Denmark awards contract to Systematic for C-UAV C2 system

The Danish Ministry of Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (DALO) has awarded Systematic a contract to deliver a command and control (C2) system to the Danish Armed Forces for counter-unmanned aerial vehicle (C-UAV) operations. DALO and Systematic both announced the award on 8 October 2026.

The system will integrate Systematic's SitaWare Suite with existing C-UAV capabilities. Systematic describes the purpose as "coordinated decision-making". According to DALO, the system will use an AI tool to analyse and collate data and produce a common situational awareness picture. DALO says it will be deployed at several military sites, where SitaWare will be tied into existing counter-drone systems.

Systematic said the new C2 capability will integrate SitaWare with Terma's OSL C-UAV system. This follows an earlier DALO announcement on 19 August that it had selected Terma to deliver a new integrated C2 system for C-UAV capability. Terma has said that its solution also integrates OSL Technology's Face platform for C2 and data fusion.

The award shows how Denmark is assembling its counter-drone capability from several suppliers: Systematic's SitaWare software, Terma's OSL C-UAV system and the Face platform. The article does not give the contract value, the delivery timeline or the specific sites where the system will be deployed.
