Klang Secures SEK 15 Million to Expand AI Search Platform
Swedish artificial intelligence startup Klang has raised 15 million Swedish kronor in its largest funding round to date. Based in Helsingborg, the company reached a valuation of 150 million kronor and currently generates 20 million kronor in annual recurring revenue.
The new capital will be used to enhance Klang's conversational search platform and scale its operations globally. As part of this expansion, the company recently entered Japan, marking its first formal business venture outside of European markets.
Alongside its commercial growth, Klang released a new open dataset and benchmarking tool for Swedish speech recognition. This resource was compiled using 1,804 crowdsourced audio recordings gathered from participants across Sweden.
