AI Transcription Firm Good Tape Raises Capital and Splits from Zetland
The Copenhagen-based AI transcription company Good Tape has secured new investment from Nordic Makers. Alongside this financial backing, the company's founders are acquiring the ownership stake previously held by Zetland.
This transaction completes a management buyout that separates Good Tape from its parent company, making it a fully independent business. Alexander Aghassipour, who is a co-founder and former product manager at Zendesk, led the investment on behalf of Nordic Makers and has also joined the Good Tape board of directors.
Good Tape provides AI transcription services to three million users spread across more than 150 countries. This new capital and independent corporate structure position the growing transcription firm for its next phase of operations.
