Swedish company raises €1.32 million to develop searchable AI memory for conversations

Swedish artificial intelligence company Klang has raised 1.32 million euros at a valuation of 13.2 million euros. The funding round was led by entrepreneur and tech investor Johan Lenander, along with Refined founder Emil Sjödin, Position Green co-founder Daniel Gadd, and existing shareholders.

Klang builds AI technology that transcribes, summarises, and analyses conversations, and is currently developing its own speech and language models for real-time processing to create a searchable AI memory. The company currently generates 20 million Swedish kronor in annual recurring revenue.

The newly secured capital will fund continued research and development, international expansion, and approximately ten new hires across research, development, and marketing. Despite these growth plans, the company intends to maintain a small and capital-efficient team.

For its immediate international rollout, Klang is focusing on markets in the Nordics, the Benelux region, the DACH region, and Japan.
