Czech human resources specialist Tereza Mačáčková is managing the rapid expansion of the Swedish artificial intelligence startup Lovable. In the span of a single year, the company has scaled its team from 20 to 300 employees and reached a valuation of nearly 280 billion Czech crowns.

Mačáčková views this growth as part of a broader trend where artificial intelligence is helping European companies bridge the gap with Silicon Valley regarding capital access and scaling capabilities. She notes that a relatively small team based in locations like Stockholm, Prague, or Lisbon can now accomplish work that previously required hundreds of people and significantly higher funding levels just a few years ago.
