Warehouse robotics startup Destro AI bags 8m in seed funding
Warehouse robotics startup Destro AI has secured eight million dollars in seed funding. The funding round was backed by Base10 Partners, whose co-founder and managing partner Adeyemi Ajao noted that Destro AI quickly moved from having two pilots running to being live in production with some of the largest logistics operators in the country.
The startup has succeeded in winning head-to-head competitions against rival companies with significantly more funding and market hype. According to Base10 Partners, the young company managed to keep its robots running and in use by warehouses, which is widely considered the hardest part of the warehouse automation industry to get right.
Destro AI achieved this rapid commercial deployment by deeply understanding that most warehouse buyers need reliable, practical solutions. The newly acquired seed capital will support the startup as it continues to deploy its technology within major logistics operations and competes in the growing supply chain automation sector.
