Junior Software Engineer – AI & Product
Junior Software Engineer – AI & Product
Exceptional graduates welcome
Build the future of AI-powered travel with us.
At Go Globie, we're building an AI-powered travel platform that makes planning and booking trips simple, personalised and effortless.
Over the past six months, we've built a strong foundation. We've launched our beta, validated the product with real users, and established a modern AI architecture that will support the next phase of our journey.
Now we're looking for an ambitious software engineer to help take Go Globie to the next level.
This is not a traditional junior engineering role.
You'll take over a working production platform and, following an initial handover, become the primary engineer responsible for its continued development. Working directly with the founders, you'll help drive our technical roadmap, build new features, make key architectural decisions, and play a central role in shaping both the product and the future engineering organisation.
What you'll be responsible for
—
Building and shipping new product features across the platform
—
Developing AI-driven experiences that improve how people plan and book travel
—
Working across both frontend and backend to create seamless user experiences
—
Integrating external APIs and travel services
—
Improving scalability, reliability and performance as we grow
—
Contributing to technical decisions and continuously evolving our architecture
—
Collaborating closely with the founders to turn ideas into products used by real customers
Who we're looking for
You might be the right fit if you:
—
Are early in your software engineering career. You might be an exceptional recent graduate or have 1–3 years of professional experience.
—
Have hands-on experience building real software products through internships, startups, personal projects or professional work.
—
Love building products – not just writing code.
—
Are curious about AI, LLMs and modern software development.
—
Enjoy solving complex technical challenges.
—
Take ownership and thrive in an environment with a high degree of autonomy.
—
Enjoy working in a fast-moving startup where priorities evolve quickly.
—
Have a genuine interest in travel (a bonus!) and enjoy helping shape products around real user needs.
Why this role is different
—
You'll take ownership of a production platform – not just contribute to individual tasks.
—
You'll work on a product where AI is at the core, not simply an add-on.
—
You'll make real technical decisions from an early stage in your career.
—
Your work will reach real users almost immediately.
—
You'll work directly with experienced founders, without layers of management.
—
You'll help shape both the product and the future engineering culture as the company grows.
This is an unusually high-ownership role for someone early in their career. If you're looking to accelerate your learning, take responsibility, and build something that matters, this is a unique opportunity.
For the right person, the role can naturally evolve into a technical leadership position as we continue to grow.
Our stack
We work with a modern TypeScript stack, including Next.js, React, Supabase and Vercel, together with AI models and external travel APIs integrated throughout the product.
We're far more interested in strong engineering fundamentals, curiosity and good judgement than experience with every technology in our stack.
Why Go Globie?
Most junior engineering roles give you a small piece of a large machine.
At Go Globie, you'll help build the machine.
We're still early enough that your ideas will influence the product, the technology and the future of the company—but mature enough that you'll be building on a solid technical foundation with real users and real momentum.
If you're excited by ownership, rapid learning and the opportunity to help shape the future of AI-powered travel, we'd love to hear from you.
Interested?
We're not running a traditional hiring process.
We're looking to start a conversation with curious, ambitious engineers who want to build products with real impact.
If that sounds like you, let's talk.
